Job Title: Electrical Engineer/Medical Device Business Manager

Job Summary

Full time - 8:00 AM - 5:00PM. Salary: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Monday thru Friday

Primary Responsibility:

Management and leadership of the Medical Device Business. Lead the Trackmaster business group by using electrical engineering expertise involving design, manufacture and research & development of systems required to drive and control treadmills used for exercise and rehabilitation.

Specific Responsibility Expectation:

Product Engineering: Improve current product designs as well as development of new and improved products. Focus on cost reduction of current models.

Quality: Quality expectations for medical devices are extremely high. Product design, assembly, service, certifications and records must meet ISO13485(MDSAP) requirements.

Regulatory Compliance: Must follow regulatory requirements in all countries where product is provided.

Safety & Environmental: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for employees.

Customer Relations: Our mission is to deliver premium value to our customers. Day-to-day customer relationships are a critical component. Effectively manage and coordinate customer product and delivery needs.

Sales: Maintain and expand FVI’s position as a treadmill supplier to the cardio-vascular testing market. Research and develop other medical device products.

Service & Technical Field Support: Customer service is important. Manage the effectiveness and timeliness.

Production – Treadmill Assembly: Manage the product assembly process, test and package treadmills that meet our customers’ needs.

Inventory Planning & Control: Strive to optimize cost, product availability, productivity and inventory investment through effective management of the business forecast and customer backlog.

Position Requirements

  • Engineering degree

  • Five years experience in electrical engineering

  • Knowledge of QA systems/requirements (ISO 9001/13485MDSAP) and good background in regulatory compliance a plus

  • Medical device experience a plus

  • Treadmill engineering design experience a plus

  • Strong customer relationship, service and technical sales skills

  • Strong leadership, management, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Strong at project management and deadline driven

  • Strong accountability with root cause analysis

  • Operations management background

  • Self-starter, hands-on and well-organized

  • Capable of building a strong team and be a team player

Qualifications

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

  • Must have stable work history.

  • Must have the ability to perform at acceptable quality levels per the Full Vision Quality Management System.

Education

  • Electrical Engineering Degree

Job Title: 2nd shift - CNC Metal Fabricator

Sign on Bonus of $1,000

Job Summary

Full time

2nd shift 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM - Starting pay of $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

PLUS a $2.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift

Monday thru Friday, overtime possible.

Operates various pieces of CNC fabrication equipment that cut, punch, drill, or bend metal. Makes own setups, changes own tools and dies, and does minor maintenance of equipment and tools. Deburrs own parts as required. May be required to operate two or more machines simultaneously. Ability to use tape measure and read blueprints. Performs other work as directed by the Supervisor. Previous experience in fabrication operation for tube bending desired.
